Obverse: Bust of the King of Montenegro, Nikita ; below, dove as harbinger of peace carrying a note marked "an sm Franz Jos.1.". In border, "Die Friedestaube erst abgesandt" (Dove of peace sent first). KG under dove's left wing.

Reverse: A raven, flying away with crown; below, two hands grasping sword; distant mountainous landscape. In border,"Verliess der Rabe drauf sein Land 13. Januar 1916" (The raven then left its country).
