Obverse: A hand from the clouds punches an owl (Greece) off its pillar, implying Greece's hardships through entente. Inscription: "Griechenland und die Freundeshand" (Greece and the Hand of Friendship). 19--16 biseceted by pillar as is K--G. Reverse: A Frenchman and Tommy, in a vessel, attempt to overturn the statue of "Pallash Athene" with a rope. Inscription: "Die Beschuetzer der Neutralen" (Protector of the Neutrals). |
