Reverse: Bavarian lion victorious over the Gallic coq. Inscription reads, "Schlacht in Lothringen" (Battle in Lorraine). On a small stelae is inscribed; "Steg bei Dieuze - XX. Aug. MCMXIV" (Victory near Dieuze - Aug. 20, 1914.) |
